Busmiete.ch AG is a young, owner-run company. It is my pleasure to present our firm to you. Transparency is one of our guiding principles – as a customer, you should know who is behind Busmiete.ch AG.
It all started with a VW bus – my hobby and my passion.
As a bright-eyed 23-year old, I was constantly renting various mini buses for trips with my cycling club, music group and youth work. And then, in 1999, my work became my pleasure: I bought my very first vehicle, an old FC Basel juniors bus.
In 2006, I finally decided to turn my hobby into a career and founded the sole proprietorship Busmiete Trummer, which later became the limited company Busmiete.ch GmbH in 2014.
Since then we have watched our company expand. Our outstanding employees are the foundation of the firm’s success and growth. They do a fantastic job in the delicate business of transporting you, our valued customers, day in, day out – and they do it with a smile. Whether on the phone or at reception, in the vehicle maintenance team or as a driver of one of our buses – your happiness is always our top priority. That’s why we offer transport options that are tailored to our customers’ needs.
Our services can easily be summed up: We hire out buses for group travel, either with or without a driver. From mini buses to 50-seat tour buses, you are sure to find the perfect vehicle for your travel needs.
Right from the outset in 2006, we have always worked according to the following guiding principles.

- Our core business is renting buses and trailers to companies, associations and private clients. Either with or without a driver. Our services are transparent, reliable, competitive and tailored to our customers’ wishes.
- Simple corporate structures keep us flexible. We want to constantly improve our services. Customers who also plan their next event with one of our vehicles are a measure of our success.
- We are a fair business partner and employer. In our communication and work with our customers, suppliers and employees, we value friendliness, expertise, openness and speed.

Start of 2006:
Foundation of Company 'Busmiete Trummer'. Station in Basel/Münchenstein
December 1, 2006:
Opening of the first branch in Zurich on the Sihlquai parking lot with a materials trailer
January 1, 2007: Restructuring of the sole proprietorship into Busmiete.ch GmbH
Autumn 2007:
Opening of branch in Bern Zollikofen
Steady expansion of fleet to about 40 vehicles
Relocation of Zurich branch to Altstetten Güterbahnhof
2009:
Altstetten station gets a fantastic spot in Schlieren at Grogg AG, with washing facilities and gas station
February 2010:
Relocation of Zollikofen branch to Bern city (Murtenstrasse)
2011:
Expansion of the Zurich-Schlieren station with prefab office and large vehicle storage facility.
2012:
New offices in Berne at Th. Willy Auto-Zentrum, Freiburgstrasse, Bern
2014:
Conversion of the GmbH company to Busmiete.ch AG. New logo:
December 2014:
Our facility in Schlieren is demolished to make way for an office building. Move to: Regensdorf. The location is perfect!
2015:
Our Basel and Bern branches relocate to HP Gerber Pannenservice AG in Pratteln and Bern-Wankdorf
2016:
10-year anniversary!
Launch of the sightseeing bus in Basel
