Terms and conditions for transfers and roundtrips with chauffeur driven

These following conditions rule the privities of contract between you and Busmiete.ch AG for tours and travel arrangements (with our chauffeur).

 

1. Contract conclusion
With acceptance of your written, telephonic, personal or via email executed registration through the Travel Company occurs a contractual relationship between you and Busmiete.ch AG.

 

2. Registration, Confirmation and Payment

The confirmation has to be immediately reviewed after receipt and eventual discrepancies have to be informed. The payment takes place until seven days before departure. For bookings less than seven days the payment is due immediately or before the tour with VISA/Master Card. We accept account of company and business tours after the trip. Unfortunately we can't accept REKA checks or any type of similar payment.

 

3. Change of Bookings, Annulations
We handle changes and adjustments of already existing driving contracts until the departure for free. These adjustments (e.g. routes, times of departure and arrival) will be converted as soon as possible. Annulations and cancellations are possible under this terms:

Cancellation policy:

- Up to 1 week (7x 24h) beforehand: flat rate of CHF 45.-

- Up to 3 days (3x 24h) beforehand: 30% of the invoice amount

- Up to 1 day (24h) beforehand: 60% of the invoice amount

- Within 24h before rental: 100% of the invoice amount

 

4. Fare or Schedule changes

There is a possibility, in exceptional cases, our accurate pricing to be increased (e.g. due of additional pricing from transport enterprises, surcharges of fuel, new imported state duties, change of currency etc.). However, Busmiete.ch AG will resolve pricing changes the latest 22 days before from the date of departure. In case the increase of pricing amounts to more than 10%, you have the authorization to rescind (by an enrolled letter) the contract within five days after receipt of our letter. In case the obligated service provider (hotel, transport etc.) is not able to perform its services, we reserve the right to generate an equal service. In that case we make an effort to inform you about any itinerary changes as early as possible. Under special circumstances (bad weather on mountain road, strike, heavy traffic jam) where we reserve the rights to change the travel itinerary or the hotel stay. In case of delay to the vantage point of your trip caused by as above-mentioned circumstances, we don't take any liability for successional costs (overnight stay, taxi rides etc.) for any involved passenger.

 

5. Entry-, Custom- and Health Regulations

Every passenger takes their own and its driver's responsibility to maintain the Entry-, Health-, Pass- and Visa Regulations. When leaving the country, Swiss and citizens from Liechtenstein are obligated to maintain the entry- and pass- regulations of Switzerland. Citizens of other states are to make enquiries at their national consulate for their claimed regulations. Verify before your departure if you carry all necessary documents.

 

6. Baggage
Depending of the type of journey you have the possibility to room for your baggage. You will be informed after every confirmation of order about the maximum size of the baggage. The transport of your luggage is free of charge but we refer to fact that we can't take liability over any damages, loss or theft of your luggage or its contents. We recommend you to take out a travel baggage insurance. Please label your belongings with name and address.

 

7. Recompenses of allowance
Any recompenses of allowance need to be reported in writing within 10 days of return. Our associates are not able to approve any claims.


8. Liability

The Busmiete.ch AG as a Travel company is responsible for suitable execution according to the travel itinerary, an accurate choice of the service device (transport, restaurants, hotels etc.) as well a professional preparation and handling the voyage. We can't take responsibility over outcomes from superior forces, mistakes with service devices, strikes, delays and defaults from travel participators. The liability policy refers in every case to the immediate damage and is limited with the amount of the fare of the voyage. For adduced performances from the funding agency the liability is opposite to the travel participator, according to the legitimate and effective international agreements. We naturally make an effort to plead any justifiable requirements from the funding agency. We adhere in cases of death, body injuries or infections as far as blame of ours can be proved. Bookings for excursions and events can be made on our holiday destinations. Those services are exclusively arranged by Busmiete.ch GmbH. We don't adhere for their completion or possible damages.

 

9. Prevention of annulations
An insurance of an annulation is matter of every travel participator. Busmiete.ch AG doesn't offer such a type of insurance.

 

10. Performance of Journey

In case of an exceptional cancellation of the trip from us, you will inform in due time and compensate you the total amount. In possible cases we would help you to locate a similar program. Any advanced requirements are excluded.

 

11. Cancellation of Journey
If you require canceling the trip for any reasons there is no possibility to compensate you the price of the journey arrangement. Any possible and relating performances can be refunded if Busmiete.ch AG will not be charged.

 

12. Accommodation
Depending on the journey Busmiete.ch AG arranges accommodation or personally the passenger. Those preparations are agreed before the departure of journey. Travel arrangements, which are completely organized by us, are advertised by the standard fares of accommodations.

 

13. Service aboard and tour guide
Upon request, we provide a fridge with drinks and snacks for our buses. Some buses feature a coffeemaker.

Our drivers do not assume the function of a tour guide and focus on the traffic and the driving. In case you require trips with a tour guide, assistance for your passengers during the trips and entertainment, we gladly offer you our tour guide and hostess services.

 

14. Tips
Tips neither are included for chauffeurs, travel guides or staff from restaurants and hotels. However, a friendly and traditional gesture for an irregular labor time of gratitude would give our employee great pleasure (but it's not required). Whether day or night, Sundays or weekdays, in the business of tourism everyone is making effort to please our guests.

16. Privacy Policy
It will apply the provisions of Swiss data protection law. The stored data is not made available to third parties. The Company does not store credit card data. The customer agrees to the processing of their data within the company.

17. Place of jurisdictions
For privities of contract between you and Busmiete.ch AG is applicable to the law of Switzerland. Any sues against Busmiete.ch AG are only handled from the district court of Arlesheim.
